+ stands for additional quality and performance. By using the most premium materials we aim to build the best possible version of the classic Pencil shape. We upgraded the base material, wood core and top sheet to create a lighter, faster and more responsive ride. It features a dynamic full carbon construction, superlight bionic core design, stringer reinforced paulownia wood and the highest grade sintered base material. The Pencil Plus is a lightweight, which is an advantage when traveling or carrying on snow, but also makes it more reactive and prevents fatigue. It is a true all-round shape for effortless turns in all types of snow conditions and with the reduced weight it's perfect for snowshoe missions. The slight swallowtail offers you some playfulness out the back, but still has the stability and torsion you need to hold an edge throughout the turn. Its taper makes it easy going from edge to edge, and the shape generally feels more reactive and short than what it appears. The pointy nose is designed to keep speed coming out of deep powder turns, keeps the spray out of your face, and also allows a smooth initiation of turns. The Pencil is a classic line favourite for riders looking for that one board that does it all.
Our smoothFLOAT CAMBERcurves into a rocker shape in the nose area creating an S-like shape. This design gives you the lift you need in deep powder, improving float while maintaining speed throughout the whole turn. It also offers response and stability when going for airs or simply turning in variable conditions.
This chart shows the range in what each size can handle. It is never our intention to categorize riders and their preferences. Our philosophy of snowboarding is to try new shapes, lengths, widths, and to keep an open mind for alternative riding experiences; however, we do have some limits to consider so that your board will work as it was designed to.
Your weight plays a major role in how the board will flex, and your shoe size will affect toe and heel drag when turning. The below size chart is for reference only, as our recommendations may vary depending on your stance and riding ability.
