Japan still continues to deliver the goods
Looks like winter still has a grip on the northern island of Japan.  Hokkaido is still pumping.  Miracle March is where its at!  Snow is foretasted for the next three days at elevations above 700 meters.  Check out this recent photo from Niseko Photography and Guiding taken only about a week ago.

Niseko is set to Open on the 24th November

Perisher and Thredbo received about 25cm overnight!!!
Snow is amazing right now up in the mountains, looks like we have been blessed with another gratuitous coating of mother natures powder.  Temps have stabilized and are hovering below freezing which is keeping the snow light and dry.  This pattern will continue throughout the week until next Sunday where warmer temperatures are foretasted to bring in some snow mixed with rain.   Now is the time to dust off those ski's and boards, and get up to Perisher and Thredbo and

40-50cm of snow forcasted by Tuesday
Tired of all this rain?  Have you checked the webcams at Thredbo and Perisher lately?  The temps have dropped and all of that rain has transitioned into snow.  YES thats right, 40-50cm of snow is projected to fall on the snowy mountains by Tuesday.  This is a much needed change as we saw our snowpack dwindling before our eyes.
